MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
The Media Arts & Literacy Institute is a service-based organization. When you become a member of M.A.L.I, you are telling the populace that you support indie media and you are excited to be part of this cultural event. Moreover, you are also becoming part of a media organization that builds community and facilitates growth and empowerment for all. Mean while, you’ll be making new friends, having a good time and enjoying the chance to pre-purchase tickets at a discount price to workshops, the films, music and spoken word events that you want to see!
Best of all, by joining, partial proceeds of your membership contribution will be designated for the Blowin' Up A Spot! Production Fund. This scholarship will be awarded to an emerging media maker that has or had a film showcased in the conference to support their upcoming production! We have a number of different membership levels to fit any budget. Please take time today to fill out the membership application and send it in along with your yearly membership fee. These are the different levels of membership available. Please choose one.
SUPPORTER - $40 (valid for 1 person only)

• Advance ticket purchasing for ALL festival screenings and events

APPRENTICE - $60 (valid for 1 person only)
• (2) Membership cards issued - one address per membership
• All the benefits of Apprentice, plus:
• (2) Invitations to members only sneak previews throughout the year
• Individual names listed in program (if purchased before January 31, 2011)
• (1) studio service: Bio, CV or resume written (a $75 dollar value)
ARTIST - $80 (valid for 2 people only)
• (2) Membership cards issued - one address per membership
• All the benefits of Apprentice, plus:
• (2) Invitations to members only sneak previews throughout the year
• Individual names listed in program (if purchased before January 31, 2011)
• (1) studio service: Bio, CV or resume written ($75 dollar value)
MANAGER - $150 (valid for 1 person only)
• (1) Membership card issued
• All the benefits of Artist, plus:
• (1) commemorative conference T-shirt
• (1) studio service: free basic flyer design (2 hr max and this is a $90 value)
• (2) Tickets to Opening night film and party
• Invitations to private filmmakers/writers/celebrity receptions
DIRECTOR - $250 (valid for 2 people only)
• All the benefits of Manager, plus:
• (2) Commemorative conference T-shirts
• (1) 4 hr of free recording time

LINE PRODUCER - $450 (valid for 1 person only-limited availability)

• PRIORITY seating to all screenings and music events up until 20 MINUTES BEFORE scheduled show time
• Individual name (BUSINESS NAMES WILL NOT BE LISTED) on slide before all screenings during the conference (if purchased by January 31, 2011)

• (1) studio service: basic outdoor photo shoot (1 outfit only and this is a $400 value)
• A $50 dollar discount for any of our conference registration fees
PRODUCER - $650

• PRIORITY seating to all screenings up until 20 MINUTES BEFORE scheduled show time

FINE PRINT RULES:
***A valid photo ID and membership card must be presented when purchasing or picking up tickets. Replacement membership cards cost $25 each. All-access passes cannot be replaced. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse any application and refund your membership.***
